Do I need an Instagram login?
No customer Instagram credentials or cookies are required for public-data research. A Public Signal Labs account is required.

How do I let my agent search UGC creators on Instagram for me?

How do I let my agent search leads on Instagram for me?

The agent searches public accounts, reviews their profiles and posts, and returns potential leads with profile links, available public contact details, and supporting observations. What type of data can be extracted using Public Signal Labs?
Available public data includes usernames, bios, follower counts and contact details, posts and Reels with captions, hashtags and tags, visible comments, likes and follows, place facts and location media, active Story snapshots, and Highlight collections with saved Stories. Subject to availability; Story snapshots are not a guarantee that temporary content or image links remain live.

The agent collects available observations with source links and returns a summary of what it found and could not verify. Saved records appear in Accounts, Reels, Posts, Comments, Likes, Follows, Tags, Places, Stories, and Highlights sheets where applicable; you can download the saved research as an .xlsx workbook to open in Excel or import into Google Sheets.
How does Public Signal Labs prevent agent context from overflowing?
Your agent works with a database of your saved research instead of carrying every result in the conversation. It can retrieve and process the information it needs, then bring back the relevant findings. That keeps the context window manageable and avoids unnecessary token use.
What does the free plan include?
The Free plan includes a one-time 200-credit allowance, the built-in Agent, external MCP access, all 19 discovery tools, and results downloads. No payment details are required. Credits cover variable work rather than a guaranteed number of creators, and they do not refill each month.
What happens when I run out of credits?
New credit-consuming research requires sufficient credits. Research and results you have already collected remain accessible and downloadable, and free tools such as querying saved research remain available even when your balance reaches zero. When you start a paid plan, any Free credits you have left are added on top of its allowance. Paid credits are used first and reset each paid period without rollover. Unused Free credits stay available, including after the subscription ends.
How are credits used?
When your agent calls a paid tool, it uses credits based on the work performed; some tools, such as querying saved research, are free. If you use our built-in Agent in the browser, its model usage also uses credits. If you bring your own agent, Public Signal Labs charges credits only for its paid tool calls; your agent provider may bill its model usage separately.
Will the agent perform automated reach-out?
No automated outreach, hiring, or contracting. Users review candidates and confirm commercial details themselves.
